To provide you with the finest possible dental care, we use a
wireless intraoral camera as an added benefit to your oral
evaluation at Dr. Fong's office.
Back in the old days, your dentist would
perform a dental exam and tell you about a cavity here, tartar
build-up there, and maybe a molar on the verge of fracturing. And
you would have to contort your mouth to get a glimpse of it in the
mirror or use a your imagination to picture the damage. Since you
can't see what we see, it's difficult to understand our concern for
potential problems we might detect.
Similar to a dental mirror, a miniature TV
camera will be used to zoom in on individual teeth enabling us to
see (and detect) small dental problems before they become large
ones. The close-up pictures of any decay, cracks or broken fillings
on teeth can be on a color monitor. Finally, you can see what we
see, and whatever treatment is needed becomes that much more
understandable.
Dr. Fong's office doesn't charge any extra
for the video evaluation. You deserve the best, so call and make an
